Visitor Rules

We welcome you to Standen Park and want you to enjoy your visit to family and friends, This is a private residential estate and not part of Williamson’s Park, and there are a few rules that we would be grateful if you would observe.

  1. The estate is maintained at the expense of the residents not the Local Authority. Please treat the grounds with respect.

  2. Please keep away from any groundsman, contractors and robotic mowers for your own safety. Standen Country Park Limited will not be responsible for any injury caused should you approach or tamper with any equipment on the estate.

  3. Please keep out of areas that are private.

  4. You are welcome to stroll through Standen Park. However, please respect the fact that this is a private estate and not an area open to the general public. The grassed areas are for private residents use.

  5. Please park in the designated parking areas and not on the roads or pavements.

  6. Please note that the roads have speed bumps and there is a strict 10 MPH speed limit in force on the estate.

  7. If you are found to be acting inappropriately or in breach of the estate rules, you may be asked to leave and in extreme circumstances the police may be asked to intervene.

By entering Standen Country Park you agree to adhere to the estate rule and to act respectfully to all. You agree that you are responsible for your own safety and that Standen Country Park Limited owes you no duty of care whatsoever.
